Massage Bio 

Massage Therapist and Instructor

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with over twenty years of teaching experience. I have also been a Certified Doula (professional childbirth assistant) since 1996 and a Certified Doula Trainer since 1997 and have attended over 100 births and trained over 1,000 doulas.

I am a graduate of the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona where I specialized in stress reduction and prenatal massage. I was a founder and co-owner of Hillsborough Massage Therapy, LLC in New Jersey from 2003 to 2012.

I have also taught at Cortiva Institute Schools of Massage throughout the USA, and co-developed their six-module (200-hour) national Maternity and Infant Massage program. I was a lead instructor of that program nationally.

I am an accredited NCBTMB continuing education provider of prenatal massage.

The company Mio “fit skin for life” offers Mama Mio pregnancy skincare. I am a major contributor to the development of Mama Mio maternity spa treatments, and lead instructor of Mama Mio maternity spa treatments to certified massage therapists in spas, nationally.

“Prenatal Massage” Workshop for Massage Therapists

This one-day workshop for massage therapists provides the knowledge and techniques to perform a full-body prenatal massage and is approved by NCBTMB for seven CEU’s.
